MSM ( Methylsulfonylmethane)
MSM is a chemical that occurs naturally in humans as well as some green plants and animals and it also can be prepared in the lab.

MSM is a naturally occurring organosuphur compound utilized as a complimentary and alternative medicine under a variety of names including
✓ Crystalline DMSO
✓ Dimethyl sulfone

✓ Methyl sulfone
✓ Methyl supfonyl methane
✓ Mefilsupfonil mentano

Natural synthesis of MSM:-
By the activity of Algae and marine microorganisms, Sulphate is converted into MSM after series of chemical changes.

There is no recommended dose for MSM or Sulphur.

MSM is taken orally and applied externally on the skin in conditions like chronic pain, osteoarthritis, joint inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, musculoskeletal pain, muscle cramps, scleroderma, scar tissues, stretch mark, hair loss, wrinkles, eye inflammation, oral hygiene, gum disease.

How does it work???
MSM supplies Sulphur to make other chemicals in the body.

MSM is possibly safe for most of the people taken by mouth .In few cases it may cause Nausea, diarrhea, bloating, fatigue, headache, insomnia and itching

USES:-
Arthritis and inflammation
Invitro studies suggest that MSM exerts an anti-inflammatory effect through the reduction in cytokine expression.

MSM in combination with glucosamine and chondritin sulphate reduce CRP( C reactive protein. an inflammatory marker) in rats with experimentally induced chronic RA.

MSM is shown to be effective in reducing arthritis pain when used in combination with boswellic acid and type Il collagen.
